Every once in awhile, its nice to take a lazy day.  One of those days where you never leave your pjs, stay under the blankets and watch Nicholas Sparks movies all day.  No? That one is just me?  Well, hopefully you get the idea.  If you are the religious sort, the Bible says “Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.”  So the Bible actually mentions the merits of taking one day off per week, which is more than Im sure most of us allow with such busy lives.

I’m not sure how much I have mentioned my plans to sell most of my possessions, including my house, and live the #vanlife.  The point for me is to reduce my attachment to possessions, reduce my commitments to allow for a more carefree and stress free life, and to travel the world.  I have always been such a go-go-go busy person.  As I laid here today watching movie after movie my physical body was restless.  It wanted to go outside and ride a bicycle, go hike a mountain, just go.  Mentally I had to tell my physical body to slow down, be patient, rest up, and enjoy relaxing.

What kind of things do you enjoy doing on a lazy day off? How often do you take lazy days off?  What benefits do you get from taking a lazy day?  I would love to hear from you in the comments.

I am still doing the Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy, I haven’t noticed anything really thus far.  I will keep reporting on that.
